Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and one of the most selective ghrelin-receptor (GHS-R1a) agonists available for research. Unlike earlier GH secretagogues, it shows minimal cross-reactivity at receptors involved in cortisol or prolactin signaling in in-vitro models.
